Neelu Kanwaria is an artist who translates the unspoken emotions of the human experience into powerful visual narratives. Faces of common people frequently appear in her artworks, brought to life through her distinctive use of the pour painting technique. This fluid and spontaneous approach allows her to capture the essence of a moment in a single sitting, preserving the raw energy of her thoughts as they emerge. She believes that unless a painting carries life within it, it cannot truly convey a message — which is why expressions and emotions remain central to her practice.
Working with diverse mediums such as charcoal, soft pastels, and acrylics, Neelu has been practicing art for over 30 years. A graduate of the Rajasthan School of Art, she has showcased her work in numerous exhibitions across India and internationally, touching audiences with her evocative portrayals of human emotion.
